The 22nd time The International Movie Festival «Baltic Pearl» is going to take place from 17 to 21 September
in Riga.
By the old tradition, our company, as the Authorized representative of the company UPS, is
an official carrier of the Festival.
We have an opportunity to deliver the unique festival films, that had become the legends
of world cinema and there the only a few copies left worldwide.

UPS 1Q Earnings Per Share Up 14 Percent.
UPS today announced first quarter 2015 diluted earnings per share of $1.12, a 14% increase
over the prior year period. Operating profit increased 11% to $1.7 billion, with all three
segments contributing.
International Operating Profit Increased 14%; U.S. Domestic up 11%.

Already the 20th time The International Movie Festival «Baltic Pearl» took place from 14 to 24 September in Riga.
By the old tradition, our company, as the Authorized representative of the company UPS,
was an official carrier of the Festival.
During the preparation and closing ceremonies our company shipped a significant amount
of documentations and films. We had an opportunity to deliver the unique festival films, that had become the legends of world
cinema and there the only a few copies left worldwide. To get the film in term to our auditoria, the special courier was arrange
on weekend to pick the film in Lithuania, as by mistake of the Festival’s French partners it was sent to our neighbors.
Our company carried out not only the international shipments for this event, but also
delivered the program leaflets and the invitations to the festival guests.
Organizing committee highly appreciated our work and in recognition of this presented
the opportunity to the best workers of our company to visit the most interesting movies.

The traditional 9th parade of vintage cars,
which was attended by up to 200 different vehicles not only from Latvia, but also from a number of European countries, took
place in Jurmala in August 25th. Traditionally, two of our SPIER P36, being a UPS Company’s icon for a long period of time,
visited this event. Column drove around Jurmala from Kemeri stopping for public view in the most crowded places in the city
– Kauguri, Dubulti and Majori.
During these stops the public could look at the column of cars, take pictures, talk to
drivers and get interested information. Our couriers not only answered the questions, but also held a quiz on knowledge of
UPS’ history and technology, which aroused great interest. The public has shown a good erudition and all prizes with UPS
symbols for the right answers were distributed very fast.
The interest to the event was so big that the parade could not be finished by scheduled
time and only the twilight made the participants go home.

This year our company held the traditional Sport festival next to Cirmas Lake in Latgale.
The majority of workers from all departments and members of their families were involved into this event.
There were volleyball, football, novus, table tennis, shooting and throwing tires’ competitions. The kids took part in
various of the fun games with their parents. By the total score Riga’ branch beat the colleagues from the regions.
The day ended by the slide-show of our company's history, gala dinner and a great disco. Although everyone was tired
after the competitions, a pleasant atmosphere did not allow to break up till the dead of night.
In the morning after the swimming in the lake and a good breakfast our 14th Sport festival had become a history and
with a little sadness, but well relaxed, we went home.

During the period from 3 to 5 August 2012, Ventspils celebrated its 722nd anniversary.
A variety of festive events were arranged on this occasion. One of the most interesting was a parade of representatives
of various firms in Ventspils, who tried to show themselves brightly and effectively.
This procession was attended also by representatives of our company - employees of Ventspils, Riga and Liepaja units.
They were dressed in colorful T - shirts and carrying balloons with UPS logo. At the head of our column there were two freight
buses Spier P36, which for many years were one of the UPS Company’s icon, thanks to its unusual design, combined with
good technical and operational characteristics.
After prolonged operation on the streets of Riga these cars were fully restored by our company’s efforts and currently
used for presentation’s deliveries and social events only. Our vans caught the attention of many parade’ participants,
which came to our employees with many questions, gladly took pictures and received the gifts.
